About Nuriootpa
Happy Haven OSHC Nuriootpa offers a service for children in Kindergarten through to Year 7. Here we encourage children to learn through play using a variety of indoor and outdoor play areas including the gym, nature play, sandpit, garden, oval and courts. This provides the opportunity for children to move freely between all areas and activities with close supervision from educators. We also offer a range of child-led programs incorporating all cultures and lifestyles whilst encouraging children to develop future life skills.
Our service supports the local community through transportation of children from a variety of local schools. We encourage all children to interact with children from all schools making everyone feel welcome. We ensure that all children feel safe, secure, and supported whilst expressing themselves culturally, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.

Fees as of 01 January 2023. *Fees listed are based on a family subsidised with 85% Child Care Subsidy. These are estimates only and staff will assist with working out what your fees will be depending on your individual case.
*Bus Fee will be charged per session per child to and/or from Nurioopta Primary School at the following schools;
Light Pass Primary School, Greenock Primary School and Tanunda Primary School (Before School Care drop off only).

Happy Haven OSHC Nuriootpa have a fantastic, fun-filled Vacation Care program that is sure to keep children engaged over the school holidays.
Our Vacation Care program is released Friday of week 6 each term. All of the documents relating to the holiday period can be found here. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the documents below, and have your child/ren be as involved as possible in knowing what activities they will be in for!
Please note we are closed on all Public Holidays.

NQS Rating and Assessment
Policies
Happy Haven OSHC has well developed policies and procedures approved by DECD and school Governing Councils on all sites on which we operate. You may ask to see a Policy at any time, and these will be available at your service. We have included some of our policies which may be particularly relevant to you here for your convenience.
All OSHC services need to meet basic standards in order to operate. This is monitored by a national body called ACECQA, with some responsibilities delegated to a South Australian agency referred to as The Board. OSHC services must demonstrate their competency across the 7 Quality Areas of the National Quality Framework for OSHC, and have rating and assessment visits on a regular basis. You can ask educators at your service for information relating to any assessment and rating visits they have had, as well as being able to access the site’s Quality Improvement Plan.
